This days I am into knitting, on www.papernstitch.com I have found this great neck warmer. It is very cute and looks simple (if you don’t use a complicated stitch). I am going to try to make and in that case I will post the instructions. I am thinking it can also be very cute with a simple knit and purl if you use a fuzzy yarn that will create fluffiness and doesn’t show the stitch too much.

Instructions
Yarn: light acrylic light blue
Needles: 4,5mm 7US
Stitch: Rice Stitch
Having chosen a not too tick yarn I have decided to make it doble (I am working double the stitches and when it is done I will bend it in half).
Stitches required 40 with a ticker yarn or 80 for a doubled feel.
Word for as many rows as you can easily wrap it around your neck – be generous for a softier look.
When you reach the desired length bind it off leaving yarn for the same height of the neck warmer.
For a doubled style: Bend it in half and with the help of a needle or a crochet hook, sew the 2 sides together by inserting the chochet hook through both sides (close to the edge), hooking the yarn (you have left at the end of the binding off) and pull it through. Work till the end the sew the other side too. When you will have the 2 shorter sides sewed together, the upper side will be where your rectangular bended (so no sweing necessary) and the bottom side remains open.
Make 2 or 3 (depending on the buttons chosen) cords with crochet long enough to make a loop wide enough for the buttons to go in. Attach them by sewing to one of the short ends. On the other side attach the button and there you have it.
Will post picture of the one i made soon
